1) These wild songs and poetry go well together, however there are some aspects about them that are different. Both songs are written in poetry form, so they are like songs. As far as expression goes, songs and poems are very different. They are both good for expression to express emotion and feelings. Wild songs are typically about slavery, a very dark subject and time in our history. So all these wild songs and poems are going to be dark as well. However a poem can be dark and gloomy, or it can be happy and uplifting. John Keats for example wrote poems about gloomy and happy subjects.
2) The love song by Prufrock is one big dramatic monologue. This is because it follows the same process that a dramatic monologue does.

1) Woodsworth loves to talk about nature because it is one of his favorite things. His favorite thing about it is its relation to humanity. It is beautiful to sit in nature and take in all the sights and smells. However,vWoodsworth does not believe that humanity is close enough to nature, and thinks that the sun represents birth. The clouds represent a bad situation because they are dark.
2) The sister was great to her brother because she could keep him positive and looking forward to the future. The brother loved nature and even said nature would never betray him, but he was also always happy when his sister was around.
3) This poem talks about his memory and how they effected him throughout life.
4) Romantic poems generally represent nature because it is the best balancing force between mother nature and humanity.
5) Keats and Shelley have similar poems, like when they write about nature to show emotions. One difference is Shelly tends to be darker and Keats is usually not as dark.
6) Love is an emotion that is best represented by nature. These poems talk about it a lot and how the two go hand in hand.

There is an extra emphasis on the idea of the fall, the felix culpa. Milton's main point however, is the story of Adam and Eve and their disobedience and fall from gods good grace. His point was very different in that he believed that what we gained from that fall was a good thing for man. In this epic, he wanted to show the way of man to god, and justify it. By showing him that if Adam and Eve would not have sinned, man kind would have never existed and without sin and death, humans have little to no importance. God wishes mankind to have a choice about what we do, and we are better for that.God wanted people to be free and make our own choices, but at the same time, fear and respect him.

In the Wife of Bath's prologue, when she is talking about all of her five husbands, she brings up the point that there are not any rules as to how many husbands one can have. Another thing she discovers is that men have interpreted the bible in a way that fits them the best. God says to multiply and does not actually say the bigamy or monogamy is bad or a sin. She also brings up how King Solomon had multiple wife's and was not looked down on because of it. This all against the medieval church, who believes that virginity takes the prize. There are two main fallacies, one is how many men, women were allowed to marry, this is found in lines 13-27. the second is that marriage is a means for sexual desires and this is found in lines 142-159.
A song that the wife of bath might like is, "Man I Feel Like a Woman" by Shania Twain. She would like it because it is about a strong and independent women who lives her life by her own ways and not the ways that people tell her.

"Let's go girls, come on
I'm going out tonight, I'm feelin' alright
Gonna let it all hang out
Want to make some noise, really raise my voice
Yeah, I want to scream and shout
No inhibitions, make no conditions
Get a little outta line
I ain't gonna act politically correct
I only want to have a good time
The best thing about being a woman
Is the prerogative to have a little fun and
Oh, oh, oh, go totally crazy, forget I'm a lady
Men's shirts, short skirts
Oh, oh, oh, really go wild yeah, doin' it in style
Oh, oh, oh, get in the action, feel the attraction
Color my hair, do what I dare
Oh, oh, oh, I want to be free yeah, to feel the way I feel
Man! I feel like a woman!
The girls need a break-tonight we're gonna take
The chance to get out on the town
We don't need romance, we only want to dance
We're gonna let our hair hang down
The best thing about being a woman
Is the prerogative to have a little fun and
Oh, oh, oh, go totally crazy, forget I'm a lady
Men's shirts, short skirts
Oh, oh, oh, really go wild-yeah, doin' it in style

Man! I feel like a woman!
I get totally crazy
Can you feel it
Come, come, come on baby
I feel like a woman"

Before Gawain departs from Camelot, the detailed description of the seasons changing starts. The season is fall and this represents his emotions as he continues on his journey and arrives to see the green knight, where the seasons go from the warm green summer to the cold dreary winter.

1) In the inferno, the punishments are meant to match the sins that an individual has committed. Match it in time and severity and closely resemble the sin. This is for when that person gets farther into hell, it gets worse.
2) People only go to upper hell because they self indulged. An instance of this is one loving something too much, to the point of greed. The sins for getting into upper hell are no wear near as bad as the ones needed to get deeper into hell. The levels of upper hell consist of limbo, lustful, gluttonous, hoarders, and the wrathful.
3) our perspective is different than that of Dante's because we don't believe in purgatory. purgatory is the process of cleansing one of sins. We believe in god forgiving us for our sins throughout our lives. When we die we go before god and he judges us based on our life choices.

1) The poets attitude toward Roland is mostly good. There are parts of the poem that Roland is portrayed as a great and noble character. At one point, Roland is talked about as being bold and showing bravery.
2) Their attitudes are interesting to say the least. They fight and die along side Roland. These characters are seen as proud and diligent warriors. The poet wanted to throw in some religious aspects as well.
3) These supernatural and super human elements are special as well. Roman is an example of a super human because of his abilities on the battlefield and his ability to conquer a lot of land. supernatural was Romans sword and its abilities.
4) The oral poetry is the song of Roland, being the oldest surviving French poem. This poem as been passed down not by writing, but orally through the years.
